Breath, short comic

A hero searches for her lover but finds something else first.
These initial few sketches and concept art pieces were working from the loose setting of post-apocalyptic snowy wasteland. People use white camouflage to blend in with the snow, and have repurposed many old-world items for their journey through the wastes.
Some of these little concept pieces were barely an inch tall sketches but ended up informing large parts of the art direction after being blown up, drawn over multiple times, and experimented with. The goal was trying to find a high-contrast art style, really playing with lights and darks, that would further aid the snowy setting.
The main character is a strong, blue-ish tinged skin, red-haired, heroine.
