I’ve been playing around with my new Adobe Ink & Slide stylus for a while now, mostly just with short drawing sessions like quick-pose life drawing classes. When I got my Ink & Slide a couple of months ago there weren’t that many of apps available that it worked with, so I’m mostly using Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw in these, however there have been some more apps to add support for the stylus since then.
I’m thinking I’ll do a full review of the Ink & Slide soon. It feels like an under-appreciated stylus, yet so far is the nicest feeling in my hand and most responsive one that I’ve used.
Anyways, here are a bunch of quick iPad sketches from figure drawing, using the Ink & Slide stylus from Adobe and Adonit. Let me know what you think! I also posted these on my brand new Behance page, which you will hopefully stalk me on as well.
Have you created or seen anything awesome made with an Ink & Slide? Share it in the comments. I’d love to see what other people are doing, especially the ones who have more patience to make art on their tablet than a quick life drawing class. Also, let me know if you recommend any good apps for pairing with the stylus as well. I’m not a huge fan of the Adobe iPad apps yet.Tags: figure drawing, Ink & Slide, ipad, life drawing, sketches, stylus
